Half of web users are running ad blockers.

With your support and help, we can get that number higher.

@aurynn It's a shame they don't differentiate between big commercial sites making money out of hate and reselling data illegally, and small private sites that could do with a little cash to help with running costs. Donations aren't a good revenue model.

After 47 years I really am done with advertising. I'd far rather pay a subscription than see any advertising.

I wasn't born on Earth to spend my life being begged to buy things I don't need or want.

Adblocking is as essential to me as raincoats are for dealing with rain.

So, you'd be happy to pay every time to read a blog. Well, there goes Wordpress and other free blogging platforms who are financed by ad revenue. Plus all the hosting companies. You'll only get commercial blogs out of that.

You people really haven't thought this through.

"You people"?

Never a great way to start a conversation. Neither is disparaging my thought processes.

Perhaps you'd care to edit/delete those personal remarks? This isn't Twitter, and I'd hate to ruin the lovely vibe here with further unpleasantness.
