GSV_EmpiricistI have personally measured Earth's rotation (by Foucault pendulum precession, and by laser-ring gyro). It can also be measured by mechanical or MEMS gyros. It's not stationary.
I have also personally measured Earth's curvature as horizon dip and as reciprocal zenith angle excess.
