GSV_EmpiricistThe Earth is quite measurably a near-sphere. So is the Moon, and so is every other planet and moon.
This is an unavoidable consequence of gravity and material strength; any terrestrial body of > 600 km dia has sufficient gravity to squish itself pretty accurately spherical (/ insufficient material strength to NOT squish itself spherical).
