Imagine being a Mastodon admin and seeing all the newbies joining and being "yeah I guess here is fine but I'm going to miss Twitter so much".

It's like coming into a pizzeria and constantly telling the staff you would have chosen sushi 10 times over...🥲

@EmmanuelleChaze in this analogy the Mastodon pizzeria has been operating at a loss for years until the sushi restaurant went down because the new owner began selling rotting fish. They’d take the win and not care.
