matjam@thedarktangent you may regret a TTL of 2419200 if you ever need to move the server. That's like a month ... no reason to have it more than like 1h imho. If your DNS is down you have other problems :P
Jeff Moss@matjam You noticed it! Cool! That’s an old school DDoS mitigation, I think it used to be called an infrastructure TTL. But in practice almost everything ignores TTL and calculates their own, especially CDNs so it’s not really as important.
