Howdy tooters!

What's the vibe on apps here? Is there a Tweetbot/Twitterrific of the Mastodon world people love?

Seeing some mentions of Toot, Metatext, and (in TestFlight) Mammoth, but keen to get some recs.

From very brief research, Mammoth is looking worth a try... https://mastodon.social/@JPEGuin/109315609418460036

Bit of follow up here - I had settled on Tooot (with three Os) as a pretty decent option.

That said, I’m very happy to report that Tapbot’s Ivory (@ivory), while still a work in progress, is basically everything I was hoping for.

@SirCrumpet I'm on Android, and Fedilab is my new favourite thing!

@SirCrumpet The Mastodon Advanced interface works like TweetDeck.

She izza vury naice.

@SirCrumpet I find Metatext is excellent on my phone.

@SirCrumpet Big fan of Toot ( @tootapp ). More feature-full and more fun than the official app.

I haven't compared to Metatext though.

@SirCrumpet I'm enjoying Tusky, which seems to be the leading app for Android
@SirCrumpet I had Toot! and Tusker on my old iPhone, and am now using Tusky and Fedilab on my Pixel
@SirCrumpet using tooot on iPhone which seems fine so far.
@SirCrumpet I’m using Tooot (three Os) and it’s a clean interface. No swipe gestures, but it’s still a pretty good experience.
@SirCrumpet For #Android phones, the app to use is Tusky I'd say, or for tablet, Fedilab
