@tob @cheap_knockoff @lolgop It's a way foe people to more easily filter what they see in their feeds. A lot of content on Mastodon is CW'd for convenience's sake more than anything else. It's like a headline.

@awkwardlefty_cj @cheap_knockoff @lolgop it feels clunky, but you get used to it pretty quick.

I haven't experimented with the filter list (which apparently automatically CWs posts based on key-words).
