@ct_bergstrom I was a student at UCSD when they were building this. It was interesting to see it go up. Lightning hit the angel, Moroni. They cleaned it (or replaced it), then opened up briefly for tours. I’m not Mormon, so we just took the tour and it was interesting, but it wasn’t really an overly dramatic production (which I appreciated). But they were friendly and clearly proud of their temple. As they should be.
