In other news: A new report says the amount of time spent listening to music around the world has increased in the past year. In 2022 people listened for 20.1 hours a week - up from 18.4 hours in 2021. The report by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry said the difference equates to listening to an extra 34 songs a week. It also found that people on average used six different methods to listen to tunes, and enjoyed on average eight genres of music.
