1) how we can train and evaluate systems that interpret language specs to generalize
2) how we can find and create data and environments to teach models to learn by reading
My work spans NLP + ML + RL, covering applications such as dialogue, code generation, question answering, navigation, as well as theoretical questions in language grounding. I collaborate broadly w/ colleagues in ML, vision, and robotics, in academia and in industry.
