Is that last hill kicking your butt?

Scandinavia’s got you covered.
The Trampe, which transports cyclists, ski-lift-style, up a 20-degree incline in Trondheim, #Norway.

(Because not everybody has an e-bike. In fact...the vast majority of us don't.)

@straphanger Oh my god, I can think off the top of my head of at least five places for these in Dublin!
@clickhere @straphanger I was thinking the same thing - every road heading south from the Liffey from Fishamble Street to Steeven's Lane for starters, also Dartry Road from the Dropping Well up to Orwell Park.
@ccferrie @straphanger Yeah, there are basically loads of the roads which come up the banks of any of the rivers - Tolka, Liffey, Camac, Dodder - plus some of the approaches to the Canal bridges.
@straphanger What are they hooking onto here? Hard to tell from the video

@straphanger People who travelled there this summer told it difficult to stand on, and was just sitting there unused.

The very fact that it hasn't been replicated elsewhere isn't a good sign.

@straphanger could be handy on Patrick’s Hill in #Cork @CorkCyclingCrew 😉
@straphanger Can we please have this in SF/Austin/EveryPlaceWithAHill?
@straphanger That's brilliant. There have been several places I've lived where a hill like that, representing only a small fraction of my commute, kept me from biking to work.
