@buddingtherapy Tories renamed the National Minimum Wage as the National Living Wage. Just more spin. And it's rising by less than his stated rate of inflation so it's a real terms wage cut.

So technically it is a raise which will help somewhat... but definitely not enough. I need to look into it more - I always hated that those under 21 are punished for their age.

@buddingtherapy No, in real terms it's a cut, even if you accept his rate of inflation of 10.1%. RPI, which is more meaningful for poorer people is running at 14+%.
