We're getting well into the time of the year when a lot of the paths on #Dartmoor become impassable quagmires, particularly those around it's honeypot locations and insta hotspots.

Here's something I wrote for the #DartmoorCollective website a little while ago on the physical impact social media and our own choices can have on access to the landscapes that we claim to love.

Desire Lines – The Dartmoor Collective

@onlyindevon you say “impassable quagmires” I say “challenging water features” :)
@Hinterlands yeah, but you're hardcore,.
@onlyindevon that’s code for stupid, isn’t it?
@Hinterlands If it is then I'm not sure what that makes me given I'm planning on spending a night wandering the icy northern wastes of the moor with you.
@Hinterlands @onlyindevon Watch out for cows.
@DanielHunter @onlyindevon It was cows at dawn that caused the rumpus last time. At night time they’re fine coz they’re asleep and you can just punch them
@DanielHunter @Hinterlands This post is crying out for a Dislike button
