As Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, Stripe, Shopify, Lyft, Netflix, and Microsoft lay off workers, let it serve as a reminder that free snacks, beer kegs, and ping pong tables are not real perks.

@rbreich I have learned in my life:
1. I only rely in my own abilities, knowledge and skills to build MY economic security.
2. I will no expect no opportunity in life unless I first create value for some else.
3.Companies are not human beings so the companies will never love you.
And unions are suckers of hope that let you with a few cents more.
