I'm looking to connect with people I can build a community with. I'm going to do what I can to not fall into the trap of the audience/celebrity relationship on this site.
BⒶllistic@joehumphrey Mastodon is a federated platform. There'll be an instance for famous people to engage with followers, just as there'll be an instance for casual connection.
This isn't one site. Nor can you "ruin" or "Twitter-fy" it. An individual instance, maybe. But not an entire, decentralized platform, where admins are free to voluntarily associate or block off instances.
