I love George Takei and I wish him the best always, but I don't need to recreate Twitter here. I'm good. I'm not looking to follow people who are building an audience here. I'm looking to connect with people I can build a community with. I'm going to do what I can to not fall into the trap of the audience/celebrity relationship on this site.
@joehumphrey Oh. Does that mean you will respond to and engage in a dialogue with Internet LionBurrs?
@LeoBurr
I'm sorry I don't know what you're talking about
@joehumphrey I’ll take your response as an affirmative. 🐻👍🏾
@LeoBurr
Is this like a Bear thing?
@joehumphrey It’s totally like a bear thing, man. 🐻👍🏾
@LeoBurr
Fair enough! I'm happy to interact with anyone who is kind and respectful. I just want everyone to have a good time!
@joehumphrey I try to be kind and respectful and run a Mastodon instance of diverse folks, many of whom are tech heads and gamers. Plenty of whom are old enough to have played games you worked on, on the Atari ST and Amiga when they first came out. 🐻👍🏾
@LeoBurr
Rock and roll. I had an Amiga 500 back in the day. Played the hell out of some Carmen San Diego
@joehumphrey I had an Atari 1040 ST. Later an Amiga 4000. Oh, the memories. Of swapping floppy disks…
@LeoBurr I used to ride my bike to the library with floppy disks in my backpack to write my first screenplays, listening to my discman. More innocent times
@joehumphrey @mbr Our library rented Nintendo “tapes” with please rewind” stickers on them. 🐻👍🏾
