A brief introduction:

I'm a professor of sociology and director of the Center for the Study of Inequality at Cornell.

Current projects are on occupational closure; income inequality; the gender gap in wages; segregation in higher education and in labor markets; intergenerational mobility; and young adults' occupational plans and educational decisions.

Interested in #OA and open science.

Also expect some toots about Alaska, academia and administrivia, cats, and the great outdoors.
