What is discovery features and should i opt out with my posts? Is this like a semi public post.. How doth this work..

"Suggest account to others
Allow your account to be discovered by strangers through recommendations, trends and other features"
Within Profile > Appearance, or something else? On my instance it's disabled by default, and thus far I've left it like that.

@Lilsi Ahh gotcha. Best explanation I've found is :
“unlisted” means everyone can view it but it doesn’t get indexed by discovery features (very handy in replies and threads where you don’t want everyone to be automatically shown your comment)

@Lilsi So in other words, if a stranger looks at your profile they'd see these messages. But if someone on your server used the "Local" option to view posts from everyone else on that server, or someone on another server that knows about yours used the "Federated" option, they'd see your toot the other day, but not these ones you set to unlisted. Eg, Local and Federated are what they mean by "discovery features" I think, and possibly if you tag it with hash marks.
