Roblox is uniquely positioned to transform how immersive virtual content is created and shared.
These opportunities have me incredibly excited to be working on the product side of the Roblox Studio platform.
@gmate8 I know that's been said and I have seen the YouTube videos supposedly proving this. I obviously don't agree.
I find other platforms that rely on user generated content (YouTube, TikTok, etc.) to be far more exploitive of creators.
As far as I know, no other game/experience creation platform provide more direct, immediate access to wide distribution and monetization — especially not in ways possible by an individual that's new to dev and have minimal resources.
@gmate8 I can say with confidence that "Respect the Community" is a core principle that is taken very seriously.
Especially kids — it's not easy to maintain a safe and compliant online space for <13 year olds but it's a constant consideration as far as I can tell!
