@Wabsnazsm I could live with it before I had a dog. Even though he’s only wee, I have to wash and dry him (and his harness/coat) twice a fucking day lately. And the mud! I might have him destroyed.

Doesn't help that the dog searches out any soft furnishings when she's wet, so any loo trips to the garden result in us having to rugby tackle her on return to ensure the sofa doesn't end up looking like we dragged it out of a skip
@Twoclownseating @Wabsnazsm Well I can’t really complain in that regard, my dog’s a mini dachshund and I use my shed as a cleaning/drying area. He’s so small and short haired so he’s house-ready quite quickly.

@Twoclownseating Daxies are notorious for sleeping under the covers, mine’s no exception. I wasn’t having it at first but I caved, and now I quite like it. You’re right, they make great hot water bottles. I’m currently single so god knows what will happen if a new lady comes into my life…
@AndrewBrechin we were the same but did it once and now it's a communal area seemingly. At least yours is compact, ours can consume a king sized bed if left to her own devices

@Twoclownseating It’s the mud I have to contend with twice a day on dog walking duties. The fields are hell, and so slippery. And the next person who says “ooh, but we need it though, don’t we?”, I’ll kill them.
