@daenney I don't do that for my email anymore (or anything else for that matter), so I wouldn't do it for mastodon either.
The local timeline might be a good reason to switch to a topical server such as hachyderm.
@raphink I've been going back and forth on this. I think I'm going to end up with running some stuff for myself again because the world is just a bit shit and I want more control over data and jurisdiction it resides in.
Problem is there's quite a few interesting instances too. So. Yah.
