XanderI’ve technically been on Mastodon since 2017 but due to what I suspect is undiagnosed ADHD I have about 10 accounts on different instances just in case I decide one of them is better than whichever one I initially commit to. I reckon this one or @Xander will probably win in the end, but we’ll see, I suppose.
My main original account is on octodon.social but I think some of the more recent instances align somewhat more closely with the stuff I’m more likely to want to be browsing through. That and trust in how the instance is moderated are probably the main reasons to switch, right?
This is weird, though: on glasgow.social, my @ link to my octodon.social account doesn’t work but on mastodon.scot, it does. Wonder if @neil has any ideas there?
Neil@Xander Hmm, let me ask around, did you use tab-complete, or a different client to update those two profiles? The client might have replaced the reference with a URL.
@neil Nope! Same client. Initially I actually copied and pasted it from one to the other, then when it didn’t work, manually typed it. Still nope. Weird, eh?
