✍️I like how Mastodon breaks social media. A like button is the secret sauce that controls the masses. But on Mastodon, the like button is just a “send my complements to the chef.” It serves no other purpose.

@Liberiganto it signals the algorithm to boost your account, let more people see your tweets, etc. here there is no algorithm.
