You may be interested to know that City of Heroes is alive again! There's a few private servers around -- I help out on the Rebirth server!

Those are servers that have run for quite awhile yes? Not the City of Titans folks (which I keep the odd tab on)? I think I’ve occasionally read of their existence for years now but never looked into them. And I’m sans PC atm (iPad and PS5 have served my needs). But my eyebrows raised through my hat when I wrote the hashtag and saw COH gets 3 posts a week! So maybe it’s time to look deeper… and get another PC.

@Sensational_Gus So in April of 2019, the source code for CoH was leaked, and fans found out there had been a secret private server running for a small group of players. Once the source leaked, a few different private servers sprang from it -- there's Homecoming, the most populated server; Rebirth, the second largest (and if I can brag, we have amazing new costumes); and Thunderspy, whose main claim to fame is no moderation and very experimental mechanics.

I've played on Homecoming and Rebirth; my home is Rebirth now, but both servers have different things for different playstyles!
