The Black Dakini. Khandro Troma Nagmo(tib). Vajra Khrodakali(snskrt). Khandroma literally means Sky Traveller, a polite Tibetan translation of the Sanskrit, Dakini which means 'a female outside Society', an outcast. The main purpose of invoking Dorje Troma is to liberate the consciousness from habitual dualistic ignorance to unfabricated, radiant non-dual Buddhahood. Mundanely she was used to free beings from demonic control or serious illness.
