@jacqueline Well, since I am officially old, I still have my K+E Log Log Duplex Decitrig slide rule from college in my desk drawer. It may not be as fast or as accurate as the computer, but it is much more secure. Also, no ads and no phoning home.

wise words. but they make it sound like it's the computer's fault, when it's more of a software problem. but hardware manufacturers having been working really hard to catch up :-/
