@dsp firing the good engineers for explaining things carefully is certainly going to have a chilling effect on the culture. I've noticed infosec folks are almost all moved here now. And the math folks. next the twitter infra org instance spinning up here. Suspect it's too late to get data out.

I agree. It feels like 101 of don’t-dos. I feel for all the amazing engineers who have to endure this leadership.

One thing I am curious: will Elon get away with it. That is, fire all the current engineers and rehire loyal-to-him engineers that endure the working condition. If they can figure out how to run Twitter it sets a precedence for running tech companies that is a big net negative.
