The evidence that the UK is far from fair is plain to see https://www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2022/11/15/the-evidence-that-the-uk-is-far-from-fair-is-plain-to-see/ Wages and working hours data make it clear that working people in the UK are being exploited. Where is the political anger about that?
The stock market is failing according to the CBI. So why don’t we just let it go?

I posted this on Twitter this morning: https://twitter.com/RichardJMurphy/status/1942861045426516103 My point is serious. The CBI is saying that the situation with regard to the UK stock exchange is getting desperate, because it is losing out to overseas markets and not attracting sufficient business. The question that needs to be asked is, why is that?...

Funding the Future

@RichardJMurphy

Indeed ! Where is the political anger about the appaling state that 12 years of Tory mis-govenment has got us? Why is there no call for complete overhaul of a political system that has allowed them to act AGAINST the interests of the peoples of this country. Apathy and indifference seem to rule for many people in the UK.

@RichardJMurphy What a terrible disappointment the Labour Party has become. Anger is, so it seems, reserved for its former leader.
@RichardJMurphy people are too busy making rent and they don’t believe that this government would give them a fair hearing considering they’re trying to stop us from protesting and are taking away our democratic rights. The right-wing media don’t help either.
