I capture mostly urban landscapes, primarily in high resolution black and white or IR (with a Phase One system). This means I have an annoyingly slow working style, involving lots of fussy adjustments.

I'll occasionally share photos here, but I'll try not to overdo it; thanks for indulging me when I do. Many of my photos (at full resolution) are on flickr at https://flickr.com/photos/mattblaze/, or on walls in various places.

@mattblaze These are REALLY cool shots, I like them a lot!!
@mattblaze you should make a pixelfed account and then everyone here can follow if they want. Also, really awesome photos!
@mattblaze I really like seeing your vision in B&W - its got a really great tone and perspective/framing I enjoy... nice!
@dustinfinn thanks!
@mattblaze also - your photos of that disused NYC Subway station have me wicked jealous... Have you ever gone on one of those behind scenes tours of Grand Central Terminal? Its amazing... I am so happy I wiggled my way into that ... it was amazing to see... If you havent - get into it.
@dustinfinn Yes! The guy who ran them got into some trouble a while back; is he doing them again?

@mattblaze I do not know. I got into a tour like 6 years ago.

The MetroNorth Tour Person Dan was amazing... Cant tell what is ever my favorite photo from that trip from behind the clock to the catwalks to the mysterious track under the waldorf - amazing time.

@dustinfinn It's like looking into a time machine.
@mattblaze They’re terrific. I enjoy your perspective
@mattblaze Technically sound. You should consider contributing photos to Wikimedia Commons, although you'd need to use a different CC license
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Licensing
Commons:Licensing - Wikimedia Commons

@kowalabearhugs I'm generally happy to support Wikipedia and Wikimedia, but a free commercial license is not something I'm willing to apply to all my images by default.
@mattblaze Understandable. I wasn't suggesting that you alter the license on all photos, your imgs (framing, quality, etc) are good enough that you could selectively upload a few to Wikimedia. A compliment, as I like to encourage contributions.
@mattblaze I like your photography, a lot. Keep them coming.
@mattblaze @mattblaze I have worked in the photography industry in NY for quite some time. You’re work is very clean and precise. Thanks for sharing!
@mattblaze I love the pictures and thank you for sharing! It's great to mix up what you post I think. We're all complicated beings and shouldn't feel like we need to talk about just one topic. Keep the pictures coming when the mood strikes.
@mattblaze Awesome work! These are great!
@mattblaze These are amazing shots, Matt!
@mattblaze The AT&T Oak Hill photo almost looks surreal.
