@industrialorganization @innovation it effectively brackets Williamson's notion of the fundamental transformation/co-specialization and Penrosean insight, of course. Does that make the explanation a bit of a straw person? Maybe?
@industrialorganization @innovation It sorta suggests that we can see an advantage for the peer production mode over markets and hierarchies, but only under some pretty severe restrictions *and* these might only be apparent ex post.
