When I was growing up, we had a Windows 3.1 computer that had been given to us by a family friend.

One day I noticed it had a lot of unnecessary files on it. I tried opening them, but when I double-clicked those files that ended in .dll and .sys, they didn't open.

The C:\Windows folder was literally full of those useless files.

So I started deleting them.

Anyway, Elon Musk started "turning off the 'microservices' bloatware" today and now 2-Factor authentication texts don't go out anymore.

@davidmschell complete with a "Homework" or "Projects" folder, containing...ahem...NOT the aforementioned content.

#birdsite's former engineers could've tried this tactic for mission critical features. Who knows, maybe that would've thawarted #BirdFuhrer's plans.
