Nicklas Johnson 🏳️🌈@matthew_d_green it's telling that they're not going to charge accounts that have a zero balance. I think they looked at their accounting and saw a thousands of accounts had a few euros in them, and figured they ought to help themselves to all that money.

Lennart Hengstmengel@matthew_d_green this is good news. I have been trying to close my (very old) paypal account for years. Of course I need to login for that. I still have my credentials but paypal apparently turned on 2fa without my permission. It tries to send a totp to a landline of a house I left fifteen years ago. Of course there's a reset procedure but that also works by sending a totp to the same number.
