how do i stop disassociating help this has been going on for days now and it's only getting worse
@alina Sometimes focusing on something can help me. Hope you'll be ok!
@alina Idk, I have the same problem

@alina try tapping your temples and shoulders alternately. Try to pick an object in your space. Describe it, out loud if you can. Keep adding detail and expanding on describing the space you're in. If you have a rubber band, try keeping it on your wrist and snapping it a few times when you're fuzzing out

All stuff I learned in therapy. It's disruptive to that spiral and it helps

@alina if you have someone around you that you can trust, either doing things together or asking them to tell you when they see you dissociated, that's what helps me most

alone, i'd suggest trying avoid activities you know lead most to dissociation (for me it's either some games or videos on youtube, for someone i know it's mostly reading)

trying to take a break and walk outside for a even 5 minutes can help if you feel like you're getting lost in dissociation

talking to people might help to if you have friends to talk to about things you like

trying to do small breaks at regular hours (or anytime really), drinking something you like / doing another activity for even a few minutes

i'd like to help more but that's all i have in mind
