Confirmed, my child is magic.

These two amaryllis plants were both barely peeking out when my mom bought them a week and a half ago.

The one on the right grew very quickly, as you can tell. The one on the left? Not so much. My mom was ready to give up on it when she started to notice a tiny bit of growth, more and more every day.

She commented on it to Hazel who said “yeah, I’ve been petting it!”
