@mblmk @huhnomat_ @jond Ah yes it's like that for me as well on the web app (which is similar to the official mobile app that I assume this is). I have to click "load more" a couple times to find the hashtag I'm actually looking for.

If you're on android, maybe give an alternative app like Tusky a try. It shows the literal hashtag you searched for at the top of the list. For iOS I've heard good things about Metatext but I have no experience with that.
