Here we go! #Formula1 #F1 #GPBrazil
@MostlyWriting did you win?
@BugWug Yes I did!
@MostlyWriting Awesome old bean!
@BugWug As a pottery-head, do you know where I can get a pond-pot thing? About 80cm with and 30-50cm tall. Fancy having a water feature Innit
@MostlyWriting Hmmm, id probably make one or look on Etsy - they have great arts and crafts/bespoke products on there
@BugWug I can’t make one.. well I could but it’d be more of a splat than a pond. Will take a look at Etsy. How much do you reckon roughly?

@MostlyWriting Impossible to say KevBot, you know these arty types!

I think it would depend on whether you go for something unique and arty or something interesting produced with molds.

Then there are different glazes, complexity and maybe if it includes pump and bits

Id imagine you could start from £50 to unlimited

@BugWug Etsy is cool. I've heard of it but never looked before. I've found a wooden half-whisky barrel that will do the job, with a lick of paint that is. And only £25 with Free delivery. Thanks!

@MostlyWriting I had one of those and it lasted about 11yrs and will be buying a new one very soon!

Buy a pump and pond lights, you dont need a high volume pump if you just want it to gurgle about, altho the low ones can still produce a jet. The light makes it look great at night

Mine developed its own fauna and fora as oak is a great insect and microbe food, the frogs loved it

@MostlyWriting i didnt paint mine, i went for eu natral
@BugWug We’ll see what it looks like and go from there. All this garden stuff if very new to me.

@MostlyWriting Ha, gardens can be for more than just getting drunk in!

You’ll be fine, you will have your lil aquatic habitat and all those buzzy buzzy midges and lifeforms in place in no time!

I had ferns surrounding mine as they love running water, they barely unfurled this year as they obviously miss their barrel chum
