@Lsquare28 @gossithedog knowledge transition is a very normal thing to do when someone quits or is laid off on non hostile terms. it's just making sure whoever ends up taking on your tasks has as much of the benefit of your experience as can be documented. That said when the parting is under less convivial circumstances, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@juv3nal @Lsquare28 @gossithedog It usually happens *before* you’re shown the door. I’ve never seen a case before where staff are ejected and asked to come back for knowledge transfer.
@ChrisLeeTurner @Lsquare28 @gossithedog yeah typically it's something that's continually updated as you go along & can involve things like mentoring but so long as things don't end shittily i've seen the 3 weeks notice before someone quits or whatever that being the person's only task too.
