Bert Van der Auwera#mastodon is nice and I like being here, but to use it as a source of #information, #innovation and #insights, it’s (still) too small and the #search function is rubbish.
So, for me it’s still more of a #community #platform (as intended), whilst #twitter is an open window to the world. And yes, the world ain’t a pony camp.

@jbaert i know. There is/was no need to do so. But I use twitter more through the search than scrolling the timeline. Then, Mastodon is less useful. And that’s ok, because every medium serves its own purpose by design.
