Agreed, @AdamParkhomenko. We've had two back-to-back, major election cycles that were incredibly worrisome. Were we able to visibly demonstrate, through "blowout vote totals," our disgust with the discord-through-disinformation path that certain hate-speech-spewing politicians and their supporters chose? Sadly, no. But we did defeat efforts to place election deniers in secretary of state positions nationwide. And THAT is a victory for democracy and something from which we can draw strength.

@AdamParkhomenko You have NO idea how relieved we are to see US democracy pull through. For citizens living in 3rd world countries, the US symbolizes hope, and watching it decay these past years had been truly disheartening.

@AdamParkhomenko Agreed, except for Ohio, Wisconsin and a few other states that have been corrupted by state gerrymandering and corrupted republican legislatures which will have to be ousted.

@AdamParkhomenko I'm proud of enough of us. This election has quieted my mind but getting back to any sort of normal? Two or three more cycles, hope Gen Z + really prove who we can be, I hope it's glorious.
