It’s been an odd thing that of my two favourite modern folk groups:

One, DakhaBrakha is Ukrainian;
The other Otava Yo is Russian.

Both make irresistible, joyous music.

And I’ve just discovered that Otava Yo have made a principled stand against the conflict. The attached is Wikipedia extract.
