Three huge differences between a 50-50 and 51-49 D majority:

2) No single D Senator can hijack/block nominations; and

3) Ds can have *two* members absent and still hold votes.

@drvolts Manchin always thinks he is doing the right thing, but can be bought on energy. Sinema can always be bought. The Dems should keep this in mind, and use it to their advantage. She’s up for reelection, so they need to remember that she can be bought.
@drvolts Also if Hobbs and Warnock wins, Biden should offer Sinema a Cabinet position or ambassadorship and then Hobbs can appoint her replacement.
@drvolts now, time to pack SCOTUS to make the fascists irrelevant and pass federal voter protection legislation and anti-gerrymandering laws.
