TheRatManThis "security verification failed" issue seems to be occurring specifically on the app versions of Mastodon for iOS. I haven't heard of any similar difficulties on other phones and everything works fine on browser #Local
Ted@theratman You don't need to use #Local for local. All publics posts show up in local! Were you trying to do a local-only post?

@esdin @theratman most mobile versions cannot do local, the glitch version of mastodon is browser only
@esdin Just kinda figured having a tag in the post would increase visibility a bit, wasn't aware it wasn't really needed
