Continuing on my 52 "new" films (those I never got round to watching/brand new) in a year. Tonight it was Get Out. Why did it take me so long to watch it?!?!

Daniel Kaluuya's Chris felt so natural in that role and wasn't over egged, as it can be in horror.

It just flipped the nature of horror on its head and the social commentary/satire was pitched perfectly.

The final scene with the police car, will probably stay with me for a long while. It was *chef's kisses*

@brinyhoof I saw Nope at the cinema and enjoyed it, but not as much as Get Out. Us is on the list to get around to!

@brinyhoof Yeah I feel as though I need to watch it again to fully get it. Us is more of a straight forward horror isn't it?
