I wish news media orgs started setting up their own instances instead of just having journos set up on the big ones and blatantly ignore all Fediverse etiquette

Just to be clear though, I think @frida's suggestion was for the org to set up an actual server (Mastodon instance) which could be the home for individual journalist accounts too (could be something like @[email protected], @[email protected] etc. however you want to set it up domain name wise). Is that what you were imagining too? (Happy to help with guidance, or connect with others with more expertise if useful).
