Ann WheatleyI have no idea how to do anything here, so on a steep learning curve. I've had an aversion to Facebook and Twitter, so basically no social media skills excerpt some learned on Instagram. As a photographer I've used Instagram quite a lot, mainly to enjoy the photos of others and to share a few of mine, but have been feeling increasingly uncomfortable and considering my future with Insta.

You might want to check out Pixelfed (https://pixelfed.nz/) too then. It's an alternative to Instagram run on the same principles (and technical protocols, for the geeky) as Mastodon.
You can also post photos here (as well as just chatting with folks!) - people appreciate it if you click "edit" after uploading to add a caption/description for blind folk and others.
