The German word "wählen" can mean
- to pick, to choose
- to elect
- to dial
The German word "Null" can mean
- zero
- loser, jerk

So, someone saying "Ich habe die Null gewählt" either means
- "I've dialed zero."
Or
- "I voted for that idiot."

Speaking of homophones/homonyms, a whole Finnish tongue-twister family is built around discussions similar to
A: Kokko! Kokoo kokoon koko kokko.
B: Koko kokkoko kokoon?
A: Koko kokko kokoon.
B: "Kokko!" 🙄

roughly

A: Kokko, gather the whole bonfire together.
B: The whole bonfire needs to be gathered?
A: Yes, the whole bonfire needs to be gathered together.
B: "Kokko!" 🙄
where Kokko is the name of B, a hired man.

My fave German words are definitely Weltraum and Schildkröte 💜

@shi @jensclasen
Maybe "Raumfahrer" is something for you

@ElGonzales
"room driver" is not bad, but I don't think it measures up to Weltraum, IMHO.
"The World room" is the cutest way I know to refer to literally all of space.
"You know, the room the World is in?"

Somehow that did remind me of another German fave: Lebensmüde.
