Saw this issue on GitHub https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon-ios/issues/451 and changed my default language to English ( as I thought it was already).
Just check and the app is forced to English by my iOS settings.

@helder well the first part was right.. I hadn't approved anything.. but I just did.. wonder if it's a cache issue at the device level.. umm.. let me approve some more stuff

@helder ah perfect.. sorry about that.. we hadn't really given much thought to topics and links.. but we probably should, thanks for the reminder. Going through and seeing what we find interesting for this instance.. going to try and focus on technical things..
