Something that happened 2 weeks ago:

An executive I know wanted specific Fediverse software for a corporate intranet. I happened to know the guy who made it.

So I said to him, "All right, if you go this way, you have to understand that the Fediverse has its own culture and you have to respect that."

He agreed -- so I set up a meeting.

Right when the meeting started, the dev -- who is a big autistic furry -- walked into the office in his fursuit, and made his presentation. (Contd.)

@atomicpoet I had to look up fediverse! Is there a direct relationship between the fediverse and metaverse (and Web 3.0) ?

@Factory Not directly. However, stuff like @[email protected] could be the link between the Fediverse and the Metaverse.

(Also, Web 3.0 has a bad rep around here.)
