If you encounter a racist/discriminatory/hate toot, let your administrator know (take a screenshot and attach the offensive toot when you do). Use the REPORT function to do this.

THE ADMINISTRATOR will let other admins know by tagging it with #fediblock . This helps admins to find troublesome instances..

Here, the final arbiter is a PERSON, unlike the process on the birdsite where “report abuse” triggers an algorithm

@speechwoman it feels both rewarding and responsible to be on mastodon instances doing this; i like that it works this way, focusing on solutions, even if i still have so much to learn. (this comment is about the last paragraph of the retooted toot)
