So I just got to the part where there is a clear description Jordan of the planned central theme for the series and I honestly have to say that I'm surprised how well he stuck to it.

The plan in the beginning really managed to make it all the way through this winding, massive series and get to the end in a very clear way.

I assumed he had found his way there organically, meanderingly.

I have only dipped in since getting my copy late last night, but noted how he said he could have written the final scenes at any point because he had it so clearly in his head, and that blows my mind given how much had to happen between the Emond's Field and Tarmon Gai'don.

@Tootathaan Honestly when I first read that I sort of shrugged it off like "Yeah okay maybe the broad strokes of it." But yeah, you'll get to a part in chapter 3 that makes that earlier statement more believable.
